COMPLETE A SERVICE APPLICATION

COBALT requires a completed online service application from your nonprofit organization, foundation, or project. This initial short form lets us learn more about your charitable mission, location, expected expenses, and other related details. The application is free, non-binding, and takes roughly 2-5 minutes to complete. Once submitted, a COBALT staff member will review your application. Please be patient as each application is carefully reviewed by members of our team to determine the best approach for your organization.

INTRODUCTION CALL WITH A COBALT REPRESENTATIVE

After your application is reviewed and approved, a COBALT staff member will contact you to schedule an introductory video or phone call. We love putting a name to a face!

During this call, we will confirm and clarify details about your project, including how you discovered COBALT, your mission, operational status, current bookkeeping health, expected funding sources and frequency, and any other pertinent questions. We will also provide an overview of our service offerings and fee structure. Following this call, you will be asked to complete a longer form application to capture the detailed data needed to fully understand your organization and its needs.

PROPOSAL FORMATION

Based on the information gathered from our application process and exploratory call, our team will develop a tailored proposal for your organization. This proposal will outline our recommended services and solutions, tailored specifically to meet your unique needs and goals. You will have the opportunity to review this proposal and provide any feedback or ask questions to ensure it aligns with your expectations.

SIGN AGREEMENT

Once the proposal is finalized and you are ready to proceed, we will send you the services agreement for signature. This agreement will include additional attachments, such as our onboarding and implementation instructions. After the agreement is executed by both parties, a COBALT Project Management team will be assigned to your organization and will follow up by reaching out with a welcome email outlining the next steps in the onboarding process.

Our streamlined process is designed to make it easy for your nonprofit to get started with COBALT, ensuring you receive the support you need to thrive.
